Today was a boring day. I woke up late as usual which force me to go in a hurry because I had to teach a web design class in the morning. After that, I still need to go back to my daily code consumption. So much to do with those PHP codes.
I need to refresh myself, so I browse the internet, browsing tutorials. I saw a lot of tutorials on illustration which uses Illustrator as the main tools of the trade. But, I’m not too handy on that program. So, I’ll just use my lovely photoshop.
Seeing so many vector artworks, I decided to make one myself. I never do an Illustration before, I usually trace photographs and not doing illustration. Unlike others, I don’t sketch my illustration. Because, I’m really terrible at that thing LOL. I just open my Photoshop, create a new canvas and going crazy with my pen tool. I mainly use pen tool and autoshape (especially the ellipse tool). I do like the warp feature that photoshop provided since CS2.
Here is the result:

my 1st illustration on Photoshop
If I have a spare time I’ll make the screenshot on how to make such illustration on Photoshop. For now, I still have to finish all my work.

It’s a very long long long time since my last update. I have some difficulties in managing my time management that force me to abandon this site for a while. But now, I’m back with several changes here and there.
The changes among other thing is the new theme and new logo of this site.

I change the logo a little bit and I also made a fresh new theme for this blog. The old theme is a modification from an already set theme made by others. But this theme was made from scratch. I learn how to code it after reading two parts tutorial on nettuts.com.
You can view the tutorial here.
Maybe someday I’ll post my own tutorial. Just wait and see ^^

Woah, It’s a long time since my last post. I’m still really busy right now. I can’t manage to post my tutorial soon, but I’ll try as hard as I can to finish it. The tutorial progress is 85% right now. :))
Two days ago, when I stumbling accross my favorite site nettuts.com I happened to read an article about the new competitor on the browser war. Yes, it is Google Chrome. I give it a try. I download the file, and Installed it on my computer.
I do like the interface. As we all know “Less is more” the interface is simple. It gives us what we need; the tabbing system and the addressbar (omnibox). It makes my screen look larger when I browse the internet. The overall speed is awesome. Hope, they’ll add some developer plugin to the browser. Till that time, I’ll stick to my Firefox with my Developer Toolbar installed ^^
